Organic Teas United LLC is a private label, wholesale, and retail company creating some of the finest and most unique organic whole foods tea blends and herbal tisanes. Here you will find our own brands. Each of them address the specific interests of tea connoisseurs and cultures around the globe. Our recipes are very unorthodox , while highlighting the creativity and enjoyment of American blending in the tea industry. The tea leaves come from 12 countries, including some soon to arrive from the U.S.A. grown crops. Other botanicals used in our blends actually come from the United States and abroad.
The evolution of new tea blends and herbal infusions has remained the most exciting in beverage explorations for over 4000 years. People all over the world enjoy multiple recipes of teas and herbal drinks from far east to far west. In the U.S. the interest in flavored teas, medicinal teas, and botanical herbs has been steadily rising since the 1970's. The late Steve Smith who created and sold Stash Tea, Tazo Tea, and Steve Smith Signature Teas was a outstanding pioneer in the latter day American artistry of tea evolution. We continue to give tribute to such a grand leader of the industry.
While many of us enjoy cups or bowls of richly infused teas, most consumers are still unaware of the manual labor and expense farmers endure to produce the golden drink. In certain geographical regions harvesting a healthy tea plantation can be a very complex process. While there are thousands of herbs from all over the world, white, black, green, oolong, and yellow teas all come from the same plants (Camellia Sinensis). The battle to protect these delicate plants has forced too many farmers to use powerful chemicals that may adversely affect the nutritional value and taste of the original plants
Thanks to a worldwide demand for environmental protection, fair trade, and healthier farming, the German Tea Council introduced organic foods to North America in the 1980's. Perhaps you have been drinking teas for most of your life. If you have never tasted a bowl of an organic tea blend or tisane you have missed the pure preservation of value they have to offer your mind and body. Millions of Americans love feeding organic products to their families and guests. At Organic Teas United you have the opportunity to try many different blends and infusions from farms worldwide, including the United States! Whatever expense you paid for the blend or herbal tisane its history and providence alone is well worth the price.
